- Before we start looking at strategies for speeding up your previews, let's begin at the end, which is rendering, or outputting. It's really easy to screw things up. And what I'd like to do here, is take a moment to focus on getting consistent results. One of the easiest ways to cut down on your render time, is to cut down how often you have to re-render. So let's make sure we have things set up for the most efficient output, and that we can get consistent results each and every time. The first thing I want to show you how to use are render settings templates. Now one of the easiest ways to do this is to add a composition to the render queue. Now if you take a look at this one here, you see that it's relatively simple. It involves a handful of layers here and we've got the map and the pieces.
