Using the mask tracker for rotoscope

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to use the mask tracker for rotoscope work, which means, separate the elements from the background to create a better composite. In this case, we want to mask part of the taxi in this shot, so it will cover the road sign with edit in the previous movie. So I'll post a playback, and I'll go to the beginning of the call. And first, I'll select the last layer here and press command or control+D to duplicate it. Then I'll press return and name this layer mask. This is a very important step, because we don't want to confuse the node that we've created earlier, which is using expressions to work and refer to the name of layer here in the timeline. Just so you see what I mean, I'm going to select this node and press =EE in sequence, and this is going to show us the expression.
