If you are a premium member of the lynda.com Online Training Library or if you're watching this tutorial on a DVD-ROM, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this title. I've downloaded the exercise files folder to the desktop. Here is how they are laid out. Each chapter folder contains projects that are used in the exercises. There is not necessarily a project for every exercise, but these will allow you to follow along with what we're doing when needed. Because After Effects is a non-destructive application that uses project files, the video assets for those projects are located separately in this Video Assets folder.
If you're a monthly subscriber or annual subscriber to lynda.com, you don't have access to the exercise files, but you can follow along from scratch with your own assets. Let's get started.
