Discover what you should know and how to use the exercise files.
- [Instructor] This course require require basic knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects. To get the most out of it, I highly recommend that you'll watch the first part called Creating Mograph Title Sequence Part One, Visualization and Planning. If your subscription allows it, you can follow along with the exercise files that we've prepared for you. Now this is very important, we are using here stock clips courtesy of Adobe Stock. So, some of the clips that you'll see in the exercise files are watermarked clips. Towards the end of the next chapter, when I will import the project to After Effects, I'll replace those and use the licensed clips. Now this was done in purpose, so we can concentrate on the design, animation and visual effects stuff and the learning experience will be closer to a real world scenario. Now I must stress that you can still follow along using the watermarked clips, and everything should work exactly as you'll see on screen. However, if you do want to license some of those clips, you can go ahead and copy the ID number from the file name, and then paste it in the Adobe Stock site, and then you can license the clip and replace it with the one that you've got from us. Now I've arranged the files, in the same way I'll create any motion graphics project. So you will have a single Premiere Pro project as well as an After Effects project with all the timelines or compositions embedded inside of them. For each relevant sequence or comp, and overlay will be shown on screen with the project name and the relevant comp or timeline path. For example, when you see Venus_Ts_Ae.aep, it stands for the project name that you can find inside the Exercise Files folder. Then the word Comps, refer to a name of a folder inside this project and then Short 01.1 is the name of the composition that we are going to work with. One more thing in the last chapter of this course we will use a free After Effects plugin from Video Copilot named ORB. So please visit this website https://www.videocopilot.net/orb, click on the Download link here, save the file and run the installer before you open the After Effects project. And that's it. This is all the technical details you'll need to know at this stage. In the next movie, we'll show you the final outcome so you get a teaser of what's coming up in this course.
