Using auto adjustments

- I'm all for saving time, and the auto-adjustments are just that, time savers. Unfortunately, they're not always perfect. So let's explore some of the different options when it comes to auto. In this case, you'll see Auto Start and Auto End. And the Lumetri color effect does have an auto adjustment. Let's add it to a new adjustment layer. When you do this, you'll see under the basic correction two ways of automatically setting. You learned about the eyedropper earlier for white balance, but clicking auto will analyze the shot and attempt to fix things. Unfortunately, it's pretty aggressive, and it often goes way too far. So, this doesn't tend to work quite as well. So I'll click reset. But if you come here and type in the word auto, you are going to see Auto Color, Auto Contrast, and Auto Levels. These are all quite useful. Let's remove the Lumetri color effect, and drag all three of these onto the shot. We'll start…
