Using the Roto Brush
- [Instructor] So, now what we're going to do is discover something amazing called the Roto Brush. Now, I've imported this file here which is available in the exercise files, so pointThumbsUp and I'm going to drag it onto the comp area like so. And then what I'm going to do is double click on the layer in the timeline because that actually opens up the layer itself. You could kind of think of the element in the timeline as like being a wrapper around it and this is actually the content. It will say layer like so and pointThumbsUp. And you see a whole bunch of slightly difference controls down at the bottom here some of which we will examine. So, I'm just gonna wind the CTI back to the beginning here. There is a CTI just here as well as you will have noticed and then I'm going to pick up the Roto Brush which is in the tools at the top and if you click on that, it's a little figure with a brush next to it, you'll get this brush icon like so.
