…I've been working on this shot for a while since the last movie.…Namely, I've been adding more subtractive and additive…Roto Brush strokes around the fingers, and adding more…strokes has allowed me to clean up some…of that dark edge that appeared around the fingers.…And as a result, I could use less aggressive Roto Brush matte parameters.…In particular, I really knocked down the shift edge because I…no longer had as much black fringe to get rid of.…
However, I am still…not happy with this area, particularly when this finger touches this hand.…Let me show that to you.…When these make contact, I have this kind of unnatural…looking patch right here where the two join up, and…also I continue to have problems with how well Roto…Brush is cutting out the webbing in between the fingers.…I'll go another frame in, and you'll see that this little pad has gotten…even worse and I still have a bit of an edge problem in through here.…Well, this is…a case where you might want to bring to bear one more tool that Roto…Brush has, and that's called the Refine Edge Tool and it's part of Roto Brush.…
