Use adjustment layers
- Another option that you should try to use more often is an Adjustment Layer. Adjustment Layers are very easy to apply effects to multiple layers, and it reduces the chance of something going wrong. Rather than applying an effect to each piece separately, and then having to render it out, you can get better results by applying it globally to everything below the Adjustment Layer. It also makes it easier to work because you can easily tweak things without having to jump from layer to layer. So let me give you an example. In this case, you've got a few Adjustment Layers in play. If I take a look here, I can see that Color Pop is an Adjustment Layer. And that's what this little symbol means. Now you have the ability to, of course, choose Layer, New, Adjustment Layer, and it will automatically add another one to your composition.
