- [Voiceover] Whenever you need to create a chart graphic, unless you have some kind of third party plug-in for after effects, you should consider building your charts and graphs in Illustrator. In fact, there's an entire section of chart and graph tools that can help you build your graphics quickly and efficiently. Let's dive into Illustrator and check them out. If you don't already have it open, make sure you have the 01_01_Chart_Tools Illustrator file open. If your Illustrator interface doesn't look exactly like this, you might need to change your workspace. Go to the upper right hand corner where it says Essentials and click on the pull-down. Make sure you have Essentials chosen. If your interface still doesn't look like this, click on the pull-down and choose Reset Essentials. Notice that popped my Libraries panel open here, so I'll just click on my Libraries button to hide them, and then come down here and click once to open my Layers panel.
