Understanding 3D in AE with Particular

- [Instructor] There are a couple of ways 3D is achieved within Particular, and it does relate to 3D within After Effects through a couple different tools and a couple different techniques. So first off, let's dissect the project I have set up right now. I have a single layer that's called particles, and if we go to the effect controls panel here, you see I have Particular already applied. Now if we open up the options for the emitter, you'll notice it's continuously emitting 200 particles a second at a velocity of zero. That's why these are all just sitting stagnant, even if I scrub in the timeline here, notice none of the particles are moving because there's no velocity to the particles. The emitter types is a grid, and if I scrub on the Z parameter here for position, and I'm going to hold shift as I scrub so I can move more quickly, you can see I've got a grid that takes up multiple levels in X, Y, and Z. So that's set up down here under my emitter size. For X it's 1920, Y it's…
