The Tracker panel
- [Instructor] After Effects tracks motion by matching image data from a selected area in a frame to image data in each succeeding frame. You can apply the same tracking data to different layers or effects, or even to the clip itself. You can also track multiple objects in the same layer, but before we'll start working, I want to talk about the main panel that we'll use through the entire course. And this is of course, the tracker panel. Now, currently I'm using the default workspace. So if I click on the tracker panel, I'll need to scroll up and down to see all of its properties. This is because I'm using a limited resolution to record this course. A much better way to work is to click on this double-arrow icon and choose from the options that motion tracking workspace or layout. And this is going to show us four panels; the Info, Preview; which are both collapsed, and then two open panels; the Tracker and the Content-Aware Fill.
