Texture quickly with Ray Dynamic Texture

- [Instructor] Ray Dynamic Texture is a nice way to make texturing, separate layers, and after effects much quicker and simpler. It's available for $39.99 at aescripts.com, but there's also a trial version, which is free to use, that gives you all the features, only limiting you to a few different things at a time. Go ahead, download the trial version and install it. That's what I'll be using for this lesson, so we'll all be using the same stuff. I'm going to pop over to my after effects project file, chapter five-oh-two, Ray Dynamic Texture, and hit the space bar to preview my little animation I got going on. When texturing an individual layer, like my bat phone, which is flying around here, there are lots of steps. You have to add a texture, adjust its blending mode, size it up, duplicate the animated layer, set up the alpha mat, fix the alpha mat, swear at the wall because you keep screwing up the alpha mat. Then, when you adjust the animation, you realize it's all messed up…
