A lot of times I choose to add markers…based on audio information essentially tapping out the beat.…I find this to be a very easy way to time my animations whether it's…to music or perhaps narration that I want…to synchronize elements such as a graphic build.…Here's how it works.…Let's select a composition that has a music track.…I'm just using some music here from Creative Comments.…And I'll select the track here, this is where the markers…are going to go.…And I'll invoke the RAM preview making sure that the audio is turned on.…
Once the RAM preview is loaded, it will start to play in real time,…and I can use the asterisk key, on the numeric keypad, to add my markers.…
And notice that the beats were added.…Holding down the Shift key, it's very easy to snap to each one of these.…If you accidentally add a marker, it's pretty easy to get rid of them.…You can choose to get rid of them individually,…or to clear them all out with a single operation.…In this case, I had one marker inadvertently added.…So I can just right-click, and choose to delete this marker.…
