- At the start of this course, I showed you an example with white balance. I want to show you some more techniques, because getting the white balance right is really critical, and sometimes, it's quite tricky. Let's explore the Levels command, as well as the Curves command. To start, I'm going to open up number one here, from the folder 2.4, and this is white balance. Now, let's switch the scope here, to the RGB parade, so it's a bit easier to see. Looking at this, it's close, but not quite right. If I take a look at number 2 here, you'll see I've corrected it and the color is more balanced. What's happening here, is that the image is a bit red and a little shifted. I want to use the Levels effect. Now, you could apply this to an adjustment layer or directly to the footage, it's your call. Select the composition and choose to add the new adjustment layer.
