Now, another reason I like to create my vector shapes inside of Photoshop has to do with the custom shape tool. In there, you have access to a bunch of shapes that have already been created. So, rather than trying to recreate shapes, natively, inside of After Effects. I can just bring those shapes right in from Photoshop. Also, if you're working with a shape that you have created yourself. And you need to access that shape over and over again. You could just save it as a custom shape and access it accordingly. So let's check out the Custom Shape tool inside of Photoshop. Now you may notice I'm already inside of After Effects and that's just to give you a reference as to where we are currently with our project. I have my background rectangle, and my vector map text. I want to add an arrow underneath the vector map text. So, let's jump into Photoshop to create that arrow. Once you're in Photoshop, navigate down to your vector tools.
