- The Warp Stabilizer is one of those tools…that works best when you apply it by itself onto a layer.…Also, your footage needs to match in composition size…in order for it to be processed properly.…I typically use the Warp Stabilizer as a…pre-production process, where I stabilize my footage,…then render out that stabilized footage,…and use the pre-rendered footage as the source…for my finished project.…You'll notice that I've used that technique here, already,…in my finished example project.…So, if we make sure we have the finished example comp open,…and I just kind of click through.…
You can see on this comp, I've got some background footage…that moves around quite a bit.…Some of the frames are a little blurry,…but based on the style of animation that I was going for,…this worked really well.…Now I also want you to note that I tracked this footage,…and tracking's just the process of analyzing what's going on…so I could actually introduce graphics…and make it look like the graphics were already there…within the scene.…
