- For the best quality when shooting panoramic photos,…you're going to use a tripod.…Something steady.…What I have here is an Induro tripod.…This is my favorite, and as I get those legs out there,…it's a nice solid platform.…In fact, if I tighten everything down, it works pretty well.…Now, speaking of tightening things down,…make sure you look that over.…Always check the locks on your tripod,…so that it doesn't start to slip during shooting.…In this case, these are twists,…and I'm just tightening those up,…to make sure that nothing slips.…Now that I have that, and I spread the legs out,…nice and stable.…
And it also has a hook that you can hang…a sandbag from, if necessary, for extra stability.…Now, once this is done, we start to focus up here,…on the actual head of the tripod.…Chances are it has a bubble level of some sort,…and it's essential that you get a level platform.…You don't want to have any angles here…or else your panoramic photo is going to start to lean.…And as you try to wrap that around,…particularly if you're shooting a 360,…
