- Before we begin our project, let's create a folder…on the desktop so we can save all of our…After Effects files into this folder.…We'll start by creating a new folder.…We'll call this mySpritesheet.…Then I'll open up this folder.…And once we have this folder created,…let's switch over to After Effects.…Over here in After Effects, we're in a blank,…untitled project.…In the Project window here, we can see there's nothing.…There's nothing showing up in the Composition window…or on the timeline.…We can see up here in the title bar…that we're working with an Untitled Project.…The first thing we're gonna do…is save an After Effects project file.…
Let's go to the File menu.…Let's come down and choose Save As.…Then we'll choose Save As from the flyout menu.…Then we'll choose the Desktop.…We'll choose the mySpritesheet folder.…Then for the name, let's come up here and call this…spritesheet_theme….aep.…Then click Save.…Now that we've created an After Effects project file,…now we're gonna create a composition in this file.…
