Setting the default render and output settings

- I showed you this briefly before, but I really want to go out of my way to call out an important step, which is if you've gone through the effort of creating new standards, you might actually want to make those standards be used by default. And this is very easy to do. All you want to do is either click on the dropdown menu here for any of these options, and go to Make Template. And that'll bring that up, and you'll see the ability to assign the choice here. What do you want to use? So if I want to always use best settings interlaced because that matches my broadcast environment? Well, there it is. Or in my case, best settings length of comp. And that works quite well. And you see that it's loaded. Remember if you decide to change this here, maybe give it a more descriptive name like Progressive, you'll see that that actually updates in both places. So now that's set as the new default. Let's click okay. You'll notice though that things already added to the render queue don't take…
