If you are working on your green screen footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and want to jump over to Adobe After Effects to do more in-depth work, you can jump over at any time. How do you send your media over? In this video, Richard Harrington demonstrates how to send media from Premiere Pro to After Effects with Dynamic Link.
- If you're working in Premiere Pro…and you decide that you want to jump on over…to its big brother compositing tool…you can go to After Effects at any point in time.…After Effects offers many advanced tools on compositing.…I'm going to touch the surface here…and show you how to make the jump.…Then in our next chapter we'll explore…what After Effects can do in-depth.…Here's how it works.…Let's start by selecting a sequence…we haven't processed yet,…I'll with Vertical.…And I'll just nudge this up to a higher track,…Option + up arrow, and grab a background to put her in.…
Let's use something we haven't seen yet, the Hallway.…Now you might have noticed that when it brought that in…the graphic seems a bit strange,…that's because of the embedded Alpha Channel,…so let's right-click on that graphic,…go to Modify, Interpret Footage.…And I'm going to tell it to not use the Alpha Channel, Ignore.…You see that the details all come back.…Now it's a little big,…so I'm going to scale that with the Effect Controls.…
Looks pretty good.…
