- [Instructor] Go ahead and open Composition 3.3 Clip Shrink/Grow/Soft. Now, the property of Shrink and Grow, it's going to make the matte itself bigger or smaller, depending on how you change the value. Now, let's go ahead and change the view to a Screen Matte and let's change this value right here quite a bit. Right now it's at -1.8. Change the value tremendously. Change it to 40, 50, 60, and you see how the matte starts growing and growing and growing. I'm gonna leave it somewhere at almost 70, and now I'm gonna change this to a Final Result. And you can see how the matte is just tremendously larger. Change this back to the Screen Matte, and change the value back to a much smaller number, and you see how the screen matte starts to get smaller and smaller and smaller. Now, we usually use this for when we have undesirable edges around the subject, and in order for us to use it more effectively, we need to see the final result.
