- Okay, so we are almost done here. But there is still one important task we must complete before delivering the final piece. I'm sure those titles will look more convincing if the fingers of the guitarist will be on top of them. This will create the illusion that the texts are truly part of the story. In order to make it happen, we need to duplicate the shot and mask the fingers where they meet with our titles. All right, so I think this is going to be the most tedious and laborious task of this project. But I'm sure it's going to worth the effort. So what I'm trying to do here is to mask out the fingers so they, at the end of the day, will be on the top of the titles. So we need to find out where we need to begin, where the fingers are colliding with the text. So I think in this case we need to start at two seconds and 16 frames. Now, we do need to keep the original in place, so I'm going to select the lower layer, press cmd+d, ctrl+d on the PC in order to duplicate another copy…
