- [Instructor] While color, font, and textures definitely denote style in a graphic, the kind of animation in that graphic also delivers a message. In this video, we're going to create a very robotic-looking animation using linear key frames. Another way to think of it is a very mechanical-looking animation. So let's get started by checking out what we've got. If I scrub through the timeline here, you can see there's no animation, so the first thing I want to do is have a really hard linear wipe wipe on the map. So I'll select my USA map and I'll go up under effect and go to transition and I'll just choose a linear wipe, okay? And I'll scrub on the transition completion, and you know what? I want this to have an angle, so I'll scrub the wipe angle to somewhere around 142 and I'll scrub the transition completion back to zero and I'll add a key frame just by clicking the stopwatch.
