Reusing adjustments

- Once you've come up with an effect that you need, it's easy to reuse that adjustment on another shot. There are a couple of different strategies here so let me show you the two most useful. First up, if you've built a custom color effect, it's very easy to choose to move that around. For example, we could select this entire layer with blending modes and effects, and cut it or paste it from one document to another. We can also choose an individual effect and highlight it and use the same copy and paste method and it makes it easy to move from one layer to another. On the other hand if this is something you frequently need, you can also just select it here. I'll click and choose to show my animation presets. You see that that brings it over here to the Effects and Presets panel. Now with the effects selected, you can click on the panel menu and choose to save an animation preset.
