Retro LCD style with LCDeffect and ASCII Generator

- [Instructor] Let's get old school, you all! I'm talking LCD, 8bit, late '80s computer visuals! That's right, we'll be doing a quick project where we create a retro LCD-style using two pay what you wish scripts from aescripts.com. First, ASCII Generator, and yes, it's pronounced ASS-kee, not ASCII, because I looked it up on Wikipedia, and that's what it says, ASS-kee. We'll also be using the LCDeffect script, also pay what you wish on aescripts.com. Let's begin with ASCII Generator. This script installs in the normal way, just copy it to your scripts UI folder, and then restart After Effects to use it. If you need a reminder on installing scripts, go watch the installing scripts movie earlier in this course. I'm going to jump into my project file, in chapter six-zero-two, Retro LCD Style. I've got a little animation set up with some shapes in the back, and stars, and an LCD Style piece of text in front. So, the first thing I want to do is go to my LCD style and duplicate this layer…
