- That Content-Aware Scale command is really useful. And fortunately, if you work with headshots a lot, it's actually subject-aware. It can use facial recognition, and pick up on people, making it easier to reshape headshots. This can be very useful, if you need to design over-the-shoulder graphics for a news station, or perhaps graphics for an award-winning presentation. That's part of a conference where the different winners are brought up on stage. This makes it really easy to quickly reshape those photos. Let's open up an image. And I'll select the Headshot Layer, and choose Edit, Content-Aware Scale. Now, next to the protection area, instead of choosing an alpha channel, you can just click on the Person icon, and it will recognize faces. Now, as you stretch, you'll notice that the background can be stretched, but the person is not being affected unless you get really close.
