Replacing color

- [Tutor] Go ahead and open composition 4.3 replace color. In here, you see that keylight has already been applied. To use the color replace option, we have to understand what keylight is doing. Keylight will make the screen color transparent and will also remove any spill from the foreground. Like we have seen so far. But sometimes we have to change the matte so much, that part of what we want to keep is now semi-transparent. What we need to do is add a mask and choose it here in the inside mask drop-down menu. Of course, this gives us the original pixels of the clip, like we saw before, and many times we don't want this because of the spill. You can see that this particular clip has already been de-spilled. So lets go ahead and see the different options that we have. None. Simply means that nothing is done. This is self-explanatory. Then have source. The original source is going to be used inside of the mask. Hard color simply means that the de-spilled pixels will get added alpha to…
