Refining an animation by adjusting the interpolation can make it feel more appealing. In this demonstration, learn about how to use the Graph Editor to manipulate animation curves.
- [Instructor] In the previous movie, … we ended up with this animation … which we blocked out roughly. … Now, while it's okay, it's not quite right. … So in this movie, we're going to refine the animation. … Let's just begin by getting the timing of elements right. … So we're going to just check the layers … that we have at the beginning, … just kind of fit a bit better. … So I'm happy with this first bottom triangle, … the way that comes in. … That's fine. … And let's just turn our attention to the one … that comes in from above, this one here. … So that should start at around frame three … and then I think it'll be done by frame eight, … something like so. … The triangle to the left, the orange one, … that's going to start at frame seven. … And that will be done by frame 12. … And then we'll move up … and just sort out these other elements here. … I think this red shape that will solo here … should come in a touch earlier, … so we'll make it begin at three frames … and it will end at frame eight. …
