Randomizing values
If you want to create random numbers or values on every single frame of the animation, you can use the random expression, which you can find in the Random Numbers section. And, here is the random expression you'll see with parenthesis ready for you to enter values. And this is how you use it for position, so obviously for rotation you would just have to write Random, open parenthesis and put your value in. But because we're working with position, it has two dimensions, so within square brackets, we put random 100, random 100, and that way we get. A value within 100 pixels. And that's an absolute position value. You'll notice that I've placed guides here at 100 on the x and y-axis. And I if I select that shape layer and hit Space bar, you'll notice all the key frames exist within that square there. So it's creating random values between 0 and 100 on both the x and the y-axis.
