Randomizing order

Now, we're almost done with the typing on recipe. We have a text animator and each character is typing on, one letter at a time, but always from left to right. And there is a very easy way to randomize the order. In the timeline, twirl down the Advanced section of the text animator and toggle the Randomize Order option from Off to On. Now when I RAM preview, the characters continue to animate using the same timing, but the characters are appearing in a random order. And what I mean by that is remember that our Start value at the beginning includes all of the characters and let's say at the halfway point 50% of the characters are selected. Well, we still see 50% of the characters, but not necessarily from left to right. Once you enable Randomize Order, by the way, there's also a Random Seed option. I usually like to check how the characters are appearing. Sometimes you'll find the characters don't type on in a pleasing manner, or they may spell something you don't want them to spell…
