- [Voiceover] I love that animation has the power to take something that is very complex, and simplify it. - [Voiceover] The look of the film, and the characters, they all come from observation. It's fun to study their features, study their posture, and what makes who they are. We specialize in hybrid animation, both analog and digital. - We believe that there is benefits to both techniques, and when you combine them you create something that is new something that doesn't necessarily conform to. Oh, this was created in the computer, or oh, this was created entirely by hand. - [Voiceover] But, at the same time, we secretly love the challenge, and love learning every step of the way. - [Voiceover] And at the end of the day we're not trying to re-create reality. We're trying to create something that is beyond what our real world has to offer.
