I've shown you how to match a foreground and background together using black, white, and gray neutral values. But what do you do in a case where you have an object that lacks neutral values? In this case, we do have black, but we really don't have any white or gray that's anything but super saturated, and there's nothing in the background that matches it. Here are a few tips to help you deal with an advanced match scene like this. I've already told you to float the info panel, so that you can check values. And you can see that indeed those colors are quite saturated just as you would expect them to be. So rather than try to match that cube, I'm going to turn it off and replace it with one of a couple of other things. I could use a gradient, and this is a really simple thing to do so. To that gradient, I could apply a levels effect. And I'm not going to match it for you right now, but as I adjust it, you would see that, its white and black values can be made to match the scene.
