Pixel Motion Blue effect

- [Instructor] Pixel Motion Mode only affects animations you create inside After Effects. For example, by key framing the movement of an object across the screen. It does not affect already recorded footage. However, you may have footage that has strobing problems. Maybe the shutter speed was too fast, maybe 3D render does not have motion blur built in. In this case, I have some cars that go by really quickly on screen here. But you notice, the individual frames are very sharp. There's not a lot of motion blur. That's because these were shot with a very fast shutter speed, probably trying to compensate for how bright it was on this day. But, when I preview this and I'm running After Effects CC 2015 right now, you may see that the motion is a bit stroby as these go by. Looks a bit discontinuous or like a bunch of still frames rather than a nice, smooth, continuous motion.
