- [Instructor] Hello and welcome to another episode of AE Weekly. My name is Evan Stern and this time, I want to show you how to create this happy, animated poster using per-character 3D text in After Effects. Okay, so I'll pause the playback. I'll press on the tilde key to return to the full interface and I'll switch to this composition which has similar ingredients without any animation. Well, the camera is moving but all the other stuff is stationary. Now before I start, I just want you to know that this emoji icon here in the name of the composition. This is a tiny new feature of the latest version of After Effects but this is not the topic that we're covering. So let's get right into it. What we have here is few 3D layers, the background layer which is serving as a floor. This is just a shape rotated 90 degrees on its X-axis to serve as a floor and then we have two text layers.
