Offset and continue

- [Voiceover] Sometimes, you'll have animation on your layer that you want to loop, but also, you want that looping animation to progress, or keep going from the point where the animation stops. Confused? Don't worry. Here in Chapter One, 03_Offset & Continue, we've got a nice example of just that sort of animation to help demonstrate both the offset loop type and the continue loop type. I'm going to hit the space bar to preview, and in our animation, we have Conga Bean shuffling on to screen by way of some position keyframes. I've added markers to the layers where it pauses to do a little pose before it starts dancing again. This is just to help me line up my keyframes. At two seconds, Conga Bean stops to pose and just stops progressing. But, that doesn't mean Conga Bean has stopped doing the conga. No Sir! Conga Bean is a loop, so Conga Bean gonna conga! And we want Conga Bean to conga all the way across the screen. So, we'll use the offset loop expression to help that conga go. I'm…
