- [Instructor] Keeping track of multiple renders…of a single shot can be a pain.…Now it's possible to automatically add a date stamp…at the end of a render cue item so that with…multiple renders of the same composition…it's really just a no brainer…to identify which is the latest.…So for this lesson I'm going to save single frames…just so that we don't spend time rendering them.…Under composition I'll choose save frame as file,…command+option+s is the shortcut on a Mac,…it's control+alt+s on Windows.…
And I'll leave everything as is but I want…to point out something about the name.…By default it's giving me the name of the frame.…So it's the actual point in time of the frame.…I'm just going to change that using this sub menu…to comp name and date / time.…And I'll go ahead and render that.…Let's take a look at the result.…So what I have is the year, month, day,…hour and minute that the file was rendered.…
Now back in After Effects I'm just going…to do that again using the shortcut this time.…I'll choose this again but I do want…
