- [Andy] Motion graphics allow you to create eye-catching content. You are more likely to hold a viewer's attention with an animation over a still image. This course teaches tips and techniques to add motion graphics to social media content using Adobe After Effects as our tool of choice. We'll work through the stages of animating a logo for a fictitious brand called Red 30 Tech including blocking out the animation and then refining key frame interpolation using the graph editor. We work with shape and text layers to design and animate lower thirds that can be quickly repurposed for creating additional captions. I'll demonstrate a method for creating transitional devices that could be quickly iterated to produce a variety of variations. And we'll take all the knowledge we've gained and animate call to action elements, taking things a bit further with the use of expressions. Finally, we'll combine all the parts we've worked on and use Adobe Media Encoder to export our branded content for social media platforms. Hi, my name's Andy Needham and welcome to this course on creating motion graphics for social media. So if you're ready, let's begin.
