Modifying CINEMA 4D textures in Photoshop

- Sometimes when you're in the process of creating an advanced looking 3D material you just wanna be able to open that material or texture inside of Photoshop so you can take advantage of some of Photoshop's excellent tools for manipulating 2D images. So, let's go ahead and explore how this functionality works. Now, I know many of you might be more comfortable editing or creating materials inside of Photoshop. So, that's what we're going to check out right now. If we look at our project, let's select our Cinema 4D file in the project panel and press cmd + e or ctrl + e on Windows to edit the file in Cinema 4D Lite. Now, let's create a material. Go down the Material Manager in the lower left corner, click on Create, and choose New Material. To apply the material, just drag it and drop it right on top of the capsule.
