Matching light and shadows
- [Instructor] From this point forward we need to create the illusion that this monster is actually there, rising up from the mini lake. So there're a couple of compositing steps that we need to follow, starting with lighting and shadows. Alright so I'm going to take my play head over here, so we can see the monster in its full glory. And then I'm going to start by going to the layer menu, and choose to add a new light. I'm going to add a point light using the default settings. So, the color is white, intensity is 100%, and I'm not going to use cast shadows for this one. And then I'm going to say okay. And I did it just so that you can see that the moment that I'm adding an After Effects light, Element 3D is going to recognize it. So we can use this light in order to just mimic the lighting conditions that we have in the scene. And in order to save you some time I'm going to open up the light properties, and under its transform I'm just going to type in some numbers which I know works…
