Mastering lights and cameras when animating effects in After Effects

- Working with 3D layers in After Effects is an integral part of the motion graphics workflow. By simply enabling a switch, After Effects provides users access to an entire world beyond the composition window, and one rich with creative possibility. A reason for making layers 3D is your ability to interact with After Effects cameras and lights. Through some simple navigation tips, tricks, and techniques users can change the look and feel of a scene providing production value on any budget. In this course, we'll explore the essentials for working with cameras and lights in After Effects. We'll dive into one versus two-node cameras, must-know built-in scripts for depth of field control, and how to best approach viewports for seeing your 3D world. We'll also look at lights, useful expressions, and three-point lighting set-ups to add dimension to your scene and graphics. I'm Nick Harauz and excited for us to jump inside of After Effects where we'll master the use of cameras and lights.
