Making layers 3D

- By default, everything in an AfterEffects composition is 2D. The minute you enable the Cube icon next to a layer, we've made it 3D. Now, in this movie we're going to explore all of the things going on behind the scenes, so that we can get ready the minute we add cameras. So if you have access to the exercise files, you're going to want to open the project that you've been given for this AfterEffects, it's called AE Guru Mastering Cameras. And under the Lesson Files folder, we'll have a Chapter 1_1 project that you can open up and follow along with. Now, what happens when you make a layer 3D? Inside this composition are a series of layers. Some of them are actually pre-compositions, which actually have even more layers inside of here. Let's just focus on one for now. I'm going to focus on the red yarn strings, and I'm going to solo that.
