- We've already seen how you can link the intensity of a light layer to keyframes created by the Convert Audio to Keyframes assistant, enabling us to make the intensity change in time to music. But what happens if we want to change the color in time with music? Well, that becomes slightly more complicated. If I was to follow my usual technique of alt-clicking on the color stopwatch and then dragging the pick whip to my audio keyframes here, it will write an expression for me. But look what happens. When I look at the graph that's created by that expression, you'll see that I'm just getting whites and grays in my colors, which isn't really the result I'm looking for. Why do I get whites and grays? Well, first of all, to give us a clue, let's look at the expression. Now, it's created a variable, the word temp, and it said, "temp =" the result of our audio amplitude keyframes. And then it's made four values in an array, and each of them is the same.
