- Now, having gotten through this entire course without ever once touching the Roto Brush tool, we come to a situation in which it is the perfect solution. Specifically, I want my skater to pass in front of these two boards that flank my Hero board in the middle. And never mind the color correction and other adjustments that need to be made here, and let's just focus on that one problem. So I've made a couple of layers that are just the source blocking the entire frame. And I'm going to use Roto Brush to make a selection of my motion blurred skater. And, in fact, the reason he's a perfect candidate here is partly that this is challenging roto to do, and Roto Brush actually happens to love things like detail, and its easier to use when continuity is so broad. Which you could also think of as when the motion is so fast. So I'll start here. Okay here, if I toggle on and off, he's covering the entire board.
