Loading bump maps into CINEMA 4D Lite

- Now that we know how to create bump maps, it's time for us to go ahead and apply those maps to a material inside of CINEMA 4D. But rather than just loading it into a channel, I'm also going to show you how we can control how that material is wrapped around the object, so we can be very precise when we apply our bump maps. So in our After Effects project, we have our texture that we applied to our CINEMA 4D element, but it's not looking very realistic. Even if I select layer one, go to my effect controls, change my render up to the final settings, I've got this strange accent over top of this, and I'm not seeing any depth in the dark areas of the image. So this specular highlight, is definitely throwing things off. But we can adjust that by adding a bump map. To do that, I'll go ahead and click on layer one, and press Command E to edit the original file, which will launch it in CINEMA 4D Lite.
