- Alright, let's put some lights into this scene and start making this thing look cool. If anybody has come from another 3D application or if you have some production experience, you should be familiar with the term three point lighting. That's exactly what we're going to do here. We're actually going to have three point lighting and then we're going to apply two lights to function as the third part of that three point lighting. We're going to have a key light, which is going to provide the primary intensity in our shadows. We're going to have a fill light which fills in all the dark shadowy areas, and then the third part of that is going to be rim lights or kick lights which basically come from behind the subject and point almost directly at the camera. We're going to use two lights to do that. When we're done, we will have four lights in our scene. Let's get started.
