- [Instructor] Hi everyone and welcome to another episode of AE Weekly. This time I'll show you how to get color for shadows, also known as light transmission in after effects. To illustrate it, I've created a modern take for the classic Thames channel opener, which operate these days under the ITV brand. So whether you know this or not, here's how I've created it. So we are starting with these aerial shots that I took from the Tate Modern gallery roof. I already tracked these shot using the camera tracker and besides the 3D camera tracker, I've added three point lights, one form above and two from the sides. Now the one from above the first light here, this is the only one which is said to cast shadows. I've also added the CC vignette effect to darken the edges of the shot, making sure to drag their pin highlights value to the maximum just to maintain the bright details.
