Layering foreground reflections

You're brought in additional myer renders to create reflections on the back windows. One thing we're still missing however, is reflection or dirt on the front window. Front window is part of the set and now there is nothing there where the window panes are. Be great to give it a similar look, because we don't have a render for that part of the scene, we'll have to create something right inside after effects. Can do that by using a solid and a few effects. Let's give that a try. So back to the composition. And then layer, new, solid. The solid creates a solid color, as a new layer. In this case the color itself doesn't really matter. We're going to override that. However, size does matter. Now, you can make the solid the size of the current composition by clicking this button. However, I want to make this extra large so it overhangs, so we have flexibility in terms of moving it around. So I'll enter 3000 for width and 1500 for height. And then I'm going to call this Noise, since we'll…
