Isolating the bottle using color range
- So, we are almost finished, but there is still one issue that needs our attention, and that's the fact that the distortion has also been applied to the bottle. This doesn't make any sense, so we need to separate each from the video by duplicating another copy and isolating only the bottle on it's own. So, to duplicate another version of this bottle, I'm going to start by selecting the Bottle_Floating there and then pressing cmd + d, and then I'm going to bring it forward on top of all the layers. Now I'm going to use a combination of the Color Range command plus some masks in order to animate it and just reveal the bottle itself. And the reason that I'm doing it is because I think that the bottle is a very important ingredient in the narrative of the story. So we want to separate it from the text underneath.
