Introducing Silhouette
- [Instructor] There is another professional tool that you should be aware of, which is, Silhouette. Formally known as Silhouette Effects, the application was considered to be one of the standard rotoscoping tools for the visual effects industry. It was used heavily on some of the Hollywood's biggest films including "Avatar", "Black Panther", "Avengers:Endgame", and many more. Silhouette also include paint capabilities, warping, and morphing, 2D to 3D conversion, and alternative matting methods. It is a node based digital compositing application that is now part of the Boris FX family. And they are integrating it into other tools that we've seen in this course, such as Mocha Pro and Sapphire plugins, and recently an After Effects plugin.
