- If you are a Premiere Pro user, you may have heard of the concept of Dynamic Link. This is where After Effects in Premiere can intelligently communicate with one another. It gives you the ability to drop an After Effects Project right into the timeline, and then, with a click, jump right back into, from Premiere, to After Effects. And that's great, but this doesn't work for all users, because some folks just wanna bring movies in, and they're concerned about having the dependency between the two programs. Maybe you're switching systems. Maybe you don't have the same plug-ins. But in any case, there is a useful option that allows you to preserve a link between Premiere and After Effects. Not a dynamic link, but a project link. Under the "Output Module" option, you'll notice that there's a choice called Project Link. And what this does is ensure that when the project is rendered, it has a link back. In this case, the rendered movie will be able to go backwards into After Effects. So…
